So you’re saying he was a huge project? Is that the takeaway here? Rookies didn’t start 20 years ago. They do now. Using
an example from a guy drafted in 2000 to prove that guys should sit isn’t a good argument. Every elite QB in the NFL, aside from Mahomes, started his first year. That’s how the NFL works now.
