My son was exactly in your position 9 months ago. He had stage 3 colon cancer.
He had surgery and then 12 bi weekly chemo treatments. He worked his hi pressure job and mountain biked only slowing down with each chem for a few days. He is now cancer free.
We flew out Denver to be with him when he met with the doctor after his colonoscopy.
When we heard that he had stage 3 and needed surgery and then chemo we were all decimated. He's in his late 40s and has 3 kids.
Lot's of prayers later, and a good outcome. Praying for you as well. God bless! My son's cougarboard name is Tai and one of the founding members.
