I enjoyed 2020 immensely, but isn't MOV a flimsy statistic to hang your hat on?
Case in point: last year's MBB preseason. That same high-MOV team lost to Duquesne. Ouch.
The wins @Navy, @Houston, @Boise and vs UCF were impressive. TA was impressive. The receiving corps that year made more difficult and spectacular catches that I can ever remember in a single season. I loved that team, but I'm not going to jump to any definite conclusions or make historical comparisons. It was a fun season. It was exciting. It was successful. AND it has a *. I have no problem with that apparent paradox.
