doesn’t really do anything for them anymore and he’s the last thing they’re hanging on to. the energy makes the show good and different and pat brings that. people will go, but if they aren’t engaged it takes away from the show. if the people at the show can’t get excited about it, people at home won’t be excited either. and the next thing you know, college gameday is just another boring talk show that old people tune into. that would be a shame considering what gameday was and could be.

if you want a boring talk show there’s plenty of them for you to listen to. gameday is the exciting, engaging, energetic show that gets the students involved. without that they are nothing.
