No guy (not even Pat Mcafee) is cool/hip/flamboyant enough to bring about this affect you are talking about to instill the current younger generation with some religious love of the gameday tv show that will last for 20 years.
There are just too many entertainment options nowadays.
This cycle of building fans that you are talking about doesn't even make sense. For people to succeed in life, at some point they have to move onto greater forms of responsibility when the pure crassness is less appealing. So the cycle would be appeal to college fans who tune out once they move onto actual adulthood when they would actually have money to pay bills. What type of a business model is that?
If a sports fan really wants to binge on sporting options, then in the fall wake up on Saturday morning and watch a couple hours of premier league before flipping over to college football when the games start. Or if not into soccer wake up and watch the DVR of some other game you missed from during the week. There are so many games/matches/leagues that are broadcast nowadays.
If you want to do young hip college cool crass stuff, there are plenty of better ways to do that type of stuff at college than watching a college football preview show on a Saturday morning.
Of course whoever the show producers are need to come up with fun ideas.
