nobody gets more cheers. nobody gets the fans into the show like pat. the other guys aren’t doing campus traditions like pat does. pat understands the students. he understands what the point of college football is for the fans, which is having fun.

when i was at gameday at app state, one mention of his name had everybody chanting his name at 6 AM. the only other person that comes close to that amount of affection is corso. gameday needs pat in order to stay relevant.
