As I said, I liked the story. But my wife and 2 daughters all thought the Godzilla scenes were silly. Godzilla himself looked silly and walked silly and had a silly smile on his face.

It looked like an animated fat guy in Godzilla suit from the 50s.

I enjoyed it as a one time watch, and appreciated it was kind of a campy throwback.

But at no time was I on the edge is seat wondering what would happen or getting emotional because of the characters.

I actually wanted to like it because I'd convinced my wife and dtrs to watch it with me.

We all just thought it was fine and cute but not the intensity I'd been told to expect.

I was expecting something like Aliens or Predator (but Pg 13 and foriegn). Frankly both those 80s movies looked far more real then this movie.
