So for all the Tesla fans out there. . . Elon Musk has been talking about his project Dojo for years, then he did an about face turn and decided that he actually wants to use NVidia chips instead of his project Dojo chips.

Fast forward to 2024

6 weeks ago: "Tesla is not a car company . . . Tesla can leapfrog Waymo" and "CyberCab day coming August this year" and "Tesla is a digital company".

Today: Yeah send all those NVidia chips for AI over to my new xAI company, Tesla doesn't need them.




My guess is 1 of Elon's major 4 companies will go bankrupt within 3 years, and Elon will have to stand trial at some point for fraud. The man has done a lot of innovation for the world and changed the world for the better. . . But he has also been given Billions of dollars from the govt and completely underdelivered in almost every category.

I am sure plenty of people could have created some innovative stuff and done a lot of good with billions of dollars. . . It's just interesting to go from me thinking Musk was basically the Edison of our time, to now wondering how he has gotten away with so much stuff. I continue to be a strong believer in the EV movement and I hope Starship can live up to it's promise of $150 per kg of payload. But I just don't trust the captain of the ship of these companies.
