Your own description of Kalani is literally the definition of a mediocre HC. The
guys you just described will win 5-6 games a year.
And you are ok with that??
Look, Kalani is a wonderful guy. He is caring individual who everyone loves as a person. He completely embodies the Christlike mission of BYU.
But he is simply in over his head as a P4 head coach. It’s brutally obvious.
I hope after this season BYU and him respectfully decide to “mutually part ways” (i,e…fire him and pay his buyout) and he transitions to a role in the AD/PR/Fan Facing role. Because he is great at that.
