Throw to routes under the yards to gain.
Of course we should mix up the routes on third down. I would never advocate to run the same play every third down. there are plenty of different passing plays that you can run to get multiple receivers at or past the first down marker.
I am also not advocating for a 8-10 yard out or hook near the sideline as the only option. And I don't think others are saying that either.
I can only speak for myself, but I think we are actually saying the same thing just from the other side of it. Please try something besides running routes short of the sticks and mix it up with something else, maybe past the sticks?
