So many third down throws to a receiver short of the first down marker
Are on plays with other receivers deeper down the field and aren't quick throws right at the snap.
Receivers are at various depths to spread the defense.
Slovis throws the ball rather than Roderick.
You can get irritated with Roderick over a screen intended to beat a blitz, but most short throws are on the QB.
