You can buy picks every year in round 2…I’m losing zero sleep over those
And we don’t even know what the suns final team looks like yet, so hard to say they have no depth. There’s a decent chance they don’t have great depth, but also, this trade didn’t impact their depth at all.
I will remind you that the suns beat Denver twice without CP3 and now they upgraded Shamet to Bradley Beal. They also had no depth last year in the playoffs.
I’m not saying this means Phoenix will beat Denver or is even favorites over Denver, but it’s a better team than running it back with CP3 or replacing him with some MLE guy.
