Dopamine is easy too, via illegal drugs so there’s significant downside. It’s best to just exercise for more endorphins to get the pain relief that dopamine would give and that’s what I do.
Oxytocin is tricky too. There’s not much by way of oxytocin supplement that I’m aware of. I have learned to identify when I get an oxytocin bump and for me, hugging my kids specifically, are what helps the most.
Scientists are trying to find pharmaceutical methods that help with this stuff but for now the best we have are various behavioral therapies. These conditions are what moved my career from physical healthcare to mental healthcare. I have really just been searching for answers for myself and end up learning about our common humanity as an unintended byproduct.
