The fact Rogue One didn’t force more connections than it needed to is part of
what made it good. As for Skywalkers — I’d argue it actually had more Darth Vader than it needed. Should have just had him in that final scene.
Honestly, I’d rather have a Ewan McGregor Obi-Wan movie than a second Solo movie. McGregor was one of the few palatable parts of the prequels — it’s not his fault everything else sucked.
