We don't prohibit activities on Wednesday night, but we generally try to limit them
We try to schedule sports on M,T,TH,F or Saturday for the most part, but there are occasions when we'll have games on Wednesday. A couple of years ago we had the pastors from one of the big evangelical churches come to a school board meeting to demand that no school activities happen ever on Wednesday night. We had to politely tell him no.

The Wednesday night thing is true here. I don't know about Sunday play, but Wednesday is set aside for youth actives
