I worked at a company that was too small. I ended up quitting to have the time

off. And I am glad I did. It was amazing to spend the time with our child and relieve any burden I could for my wife. My company was happy to rehire me later.

We were blessed that my wife worked for a company that did have paid maternal leave so we were able to make ends meet (albeit in a very small studio apartment!)
