I'm very sorry to hear it, we are dealing with something similar with our son
He's doing part time homeschool right now. As for counseling, I hope that your daughter is more open to it than our son. He has been resistant to counseling, and that makes counseling less effective. As to medication, FYI, there is a genetic test your doctor can order that will show what anxiety/depression medications that your daughter will be least/most receptive to in terms of efficacy. Unfortunately, without that, psychiatrists are mostly just guessing about which medications will work best.
