Here’s the reality that most people are not interested in mentioning or accepting…
Yes, every single person can alter their shape, improve their muscle mass, lose fat etc… but to what extent can it be done is the real question.

Yes, diet and science will absolutely move the needle but again to what extent and what are the expectations or desired outcomes?

I’ve been lifting weights pretty consistently since I was 13 years old. I’m far from an expert but I’ve personally watched the industry evolve, change and explode on the scene.

In the 90’s, the only people lifting weights were wannabe body builders and athletes. Today, everyone from kids to teens, to women and elderly are lifting weights.

There has also been a large increase in performance enhancing drug options that the average fitness enthusiast usually fails to account for. The average gym goer sees magazines, social media and other imagery of incredibly physiques that they assume are achievable so long as they drink protein shakes and have the right workout regiment. The reality is, those model physiques usually have significantly above average genetics and in almost every case are using some for of PEDs and often times several.

I’m not trying to be discouraging here but unless you have above average genetics and are taking PEDs there is in fact a plateau that will be reached and if you don’t accept that, you will always be disappointed with your look and results.
