4 months into chemo for stage IV metastatic colon cancer
Surgery removed 7 inches of colon and small intestine with large mass in the liver. More than 3 weeks in the hospital with bad infection, home for 5 days and then back in the hospital for 5 more days with infection. By the time was able to start chemo mass in the liver had increased 20%. Carcinoembryonic Antigen (CEA) level over 500 has been reduced by chemo to 5.8 before last treatment received. Just had PET scan to see where things really stand. Anxiously awaiting results.

It's been a tough road. Hopefully you will be more early stage. Wishing you the best.

BM me if you want to talk.
