So sorry to hear. We went through this with the hcbw a couple yrs ago. The not knowing is the worst.
Her’s was in the cecum at the base of the ascending colon. She had the cecum, ascending colon, and all the associated lymph nodes removed. We were blessed that it was still stage II and was not in the lymph nodes and had not spread, so she didn’t have to go through any chemo.
Stay in good spirits, colon cancer is very beatable if caught early enough.
