There's a reason so few FBS schools sponsor it, and even fewer fully fund it. The resources just aren't there.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see NCAA men's soccer at BYU one day. But realistically it's just not in the cards right now.

There are 205 D1 men's soccer programs including 50 from FBS schools. I wouldn't describe that has being "few".
