Weight has been steady. He’s annoyed but he’ll just have to live with some plateaus.
We went and tried an alternative course today along the I80 frontage road west of the airport. About a 10 mile out and 10 mile back stretch. Few cars. A bit windy. Road was mostly fine. Flat. If the Spanish fork route doesn’t work, this will be an ok substitute. Still haven’t ridden Spanish fork, but will ride it soon.
We had a total of 4 people. Good small group for now since he’s still a bit all over the place while riding. Composed of people we ride with three days a week indoors at 6:00am.
Today he learned how to shift his electronic shifters (was pressing the wrong button for 10 miles and ended up in a harder gear until we took a look at it.)
He’s also working on drafting. He’s a bit nervous riding right behind someone, but it’ll just take time to get used to it.
