They could do bundles of micro piles. They can be installed directionally in
small openings. They would just need to identify where they need them for the new loads. This could be done with very minimal impact to the current structure before tearing it down. As for the poor soils they can simply do piles with a mat footing. The soils wouldn’t matter at that point.
