it doesn't look like there is any statistical advantage for a quarterback to sit out a year or 2. But do you want to sacrifice a season or lose a bunch of games at the least when you have the option of putting more experienced players in there and having a better chance at winning? It's true someone has to develop these quarterbacks. Some organizations can do it a lot better than others knowing which quarterback to put in which situation. I think the Packers are one of those organizations.
