My bishop lives around the corner from me. He got me interested in beekeeping and I've had a hive in my backyard for the last couple years. Last summer he asked if I could come help him move a couple hives from his back yard that were a little aggressive and his wife was no longer interested in keeping them on their patio.


I got stung 5X through right through my bee jacket. Worst thing was when you're moving a hive you end up with lots of bees flying around you so there's no way to stop and get the stingers out. Had to just let them keep pumping away until all the juicy venom was coursing through my system. My right arm was swollen for a week.
