Also, I've read that you need to move a swarm more than 2 miles away or it will
keep swarming. The Scout bees will come back and follow the queen's pheromones and tell the swarm to move to the location that they found. Since the bees only can fly about 2 miles, you have to be outside that zone to keep the colony from swarming again.
