been impossible to lose for years. Been doing this since January and its all gone and I feel amazing. Too bad it took me so long to find something that worked for me. Here's what I did in a nutshell if anybody is looking for something that might work.
1. Eat more fiber, I eat fiber first, proteins next and carbs, starches and sugars last.
2. Intermittent fast, I try not to eat past 7pm and skip breakfast and eat lunch around noon - 1pm and keep my eating window to 6 hours if possible.
3. Walk after meals, just a 10-15 min walk burns any excess sugar I may have had at a meal.
4. Try to get 150g of protein per day
5. Lift weights 2-3x a week, walk a couple miles per day or more, and 3 days cardio 30 min.
6. Prioritize sleep & sunshine, no blue light at night if possible, don't look at my phone or computer before bed.
7. Less than 100g of carbs a day
8. Cut back on sugar as much as possible. No sugary snacks between meals. Soda gone, fruit juices gone. Zero sugar soda once in a while. If I have a piece of cake or ice cream or something I just go for a walk afterwards either outside or on the treadmill. If I can't do that I do 60-100 body weight squats or push ups.
9. Eat as many single ingredient foods as much as possible. Cut out the seed oils and processed crap foods.
My blood work is all back to good levels. It was alarming in some areas when I had it done in Dec.
It's actually been easier than I thought it would be and I haven't really cut out tons of food I like. I am not trying to preach just mention what worked for me after reading several books and listening to podcasts to put this plan together.
If you have something I have missed I would love to hear it.
