Your frustrations and expectations are totally reasonable. I'm more jaded this
year than most.
I think the M's were just a game or two short of the WC last year with 85 wins.
I think the AL West is worse this year than last (but that's by no means established...just projecting the Astros and Rangers to possibly take a step back with a lot of unknowns on their rosters and pitching).
In any case, there are reasons for potential optimism.
