Yes they did, one of the most fluky nattys of all time (not that they didn't deserve it, but that
they finished 1980 unranked).
I mean everyone can have their own category of what they consider a blue blood. There is no hard and fast rule. Including Clemson though in the top 10 programs of all time I think would be incorrect.

This is the problem. I saw a recent poll on CB and almost no one thought that Clemson was a blue blood.
