It's not an audiophile thing
It's acoustic science. Arraying speakers all over the stadium firing off in different directions has its own set of issues. There are all kinds of acoustical problems such as comb filtering and phase cancellation that can cause even more dead spots.
Also, since the speaker system was upgraded I've sat in most areas of the stadium. I've never had trouble hearing the speakers.

Correct. There is a current restriction in place (at least according to CB) that limits the speaker output in one of

We want that exemption passed. Locals should not fight it. The exemption allows it to get as loud as we want
