newfangled idea called, “professional development”… or at least ARod because he’s probably the only one of thousands of football coaches in the country who isn’t doing it… coaches convention, coaching swaps/ trainings with other schools, professional development events sponsored by their agents or the conference as well as utilizing their network of personal relationships with veteran coaches to consult with and learn from, not to mention formal training/ development clauses as part of their contracts, etc…
smh at OP and some of the follow-up commentary… how about you email Kalani with your novel idea? Working from the assumption that it’s not completely standard and certainly at BYU, for D1 coaches to continually engage in various forms of formal professional development, is errant.
