I don’t consider well rounded to be the determination of which is better
This team won 11 games against a P5 schedule and beat a team that went to the playoffs.
There aren’t many teams better than this one . 2006-2009 included. I wasn’t around in the 70s and some of the 80s but 1996 is arguably the only more impressive season since then.

Maybe. But offense is certainly not top 10. Retzlaff not yet close to BYU greats. Agree defense is one of best ever. One
