And many more impressive blowout wins. BYU was ranked #4 going into final reg. game. Spent too much time on beach where
Ty Detmer was awarded Heisman. That Hawaii game was caused by the beach. It was an amazing team for 11 games. As fun to watch as any team ever. Finished ranked #17. That win over #1 ranked Miami was as powerful as it gets. And blowing out the UTES and SDSU is always fun.
But I understand everyone has a right to an opinion.
But too much time on game day in the sun on the beach drained that team because ESPN demanded it. Lost to Hawaii.

Maybe. But offense is certainly not top 10. Retzlaff not yet close to BYU greats. Agree defense is one of best ever. One
