Strong case to be made that this is the third-best season in program history.
Only 1984 and 1996 were objectively better, IMO. 2024 was pretty close to peak BYU football and there's every reason to believe the best is yet to come. The team has never been better positioned than they are today.
The fans who spent most of the last few months mulling over the coaches they want to see fired have my sympathy. Something awesome was happening right under their noses and they somehow missed it.

Maybe. But offense is certainly not top 10. Retzlaff not yet close to BYU greats. Agree defense is one of best ever. One
