When Jake was on, he was one. When he was great, he was great.
But rarely was he "on" for more than a few plays at a time. And if he was on in the first half of a game, I expected that he was going to struggle in the 2nd half. He didn't put together two halves with any consistency whatsoever.
I think the game yesterday was a great example, however, of it not just being about Jake. The first play of the game - could've been a better pass. Could've been out in front (to Jake's right) of Marion so that Marion didn't have to stop. But absolutely should've been a catch.
There were plenty of dropped passes this year that didn't help Jake - and then he didn't help himself on others (like the interceptions).
