The balance needs to happen by time they leave your home not by time they enter
YM and YW or enter high school.
Protection can be set up but it is a back and forth game with kids and is a ton of work. I’ll stand in the side that thinks kids don’t need it until they are in high school.

We usually start with Gabb and then move to iphone when they're 16. But Gabb GPS sucks and at time (maybe still)
