they will play 5 extra games. This would include any of Texas, Penn State, SMU, or Clemson, if they reach the national championship game.

CFP Semifinals v. Sugar Bowl winner in Orange Bowl

CCG in Atlanta
Round 1 v. Clemson in Austin, TX
CFP Quarterfinals v. Arizona State in Peach Bowl
CFP Semifinals v. Rose Bowl winner in Cotton Bowl
CFP National Championship v. Orange Bowl winner
And, everyone will already play at least 4 games. The top-4 conference champs would play 3 CFP games PLUS their CCG. At large teams that didn't play in a CCG will play in Round 1 plus CFP quarterfinals, semifinals, and championship.
