My point is that those two things are not even in the same universe. "F the Mormons" (or the Catholics, or the Baptists) chants at football games and the n word are so far apart that it's ludicrous to discuss them in the same sentence.

And even if you don't see things that way, society in general does. You can say "Man, screw those Mormons" in many contexts where people won't bat an eye, but drop an n word almost anywhere, and you'll be cancelled with glee.

That kind of clout (for lack of a better word) is largely organic. You don't get it by whining for it.
