My point is that this started to become a “really bad” word in the 90s, but remained in non-cancelable common use (as a common counter-culture phenomenon) until the mid teens.
Treating this like the Hebrews treated the Tetragrammaton is EXTREMELY recent. Scalley’s use was just before that inflection point, and I’ve provided articles and data that demonstrate this.
