We've ALWAYS known that the Big10 and SEC would fill the majority of spots. Some people hoped/dreamed that the Big12 might get more than one spot. And it's possible that some day they might. But regardless of the rest of it - at least there is now access.

Some guest on Dan Patrick today was saying he thinks the playoffs will expand in the next couple of years to 14. And there will only be 2 byes instead of 4 - which will both be guaranteed to the Big10 and SEC. Won't surprise me at all.
