Teams throw fades to their blocking tight ends in that situation "all the time"?
With 50 seconds & 2 timeouts left in the 5-yard-line with a RB that was averaging 7 ypc at that point? And a QB that has already demonstrated an inability to make that throw?
No. They do not. Not good teams. No other team in the top 25 would have made that call right there with that personnel.
And I would bet a team like Alabama would strip playcalling duties from their OC for back-to-back performances like we just saw from BYU's offense.
If course, a guy like A-Rod never would have lasted more than a year at a serious football school in the first place.

If Jake throws it like he is supposed to, you wouldn’t be thinking about ARod at all. Ball needs to be thrown to a spot
