of season, that call will live in infamy. Much worse than the Oklahoma Pic6 14 point turnaround because the stakes are so much higher. But because of the position BYU was / is in, that call, and the 4th quarter miscues will forever be etched in the minds of BYU fans as some of the worst plays in BYU history, IMO. Much like the doink lives on in the minds of Utah (and BYU) faithful, never to be forgotten.
Now if BYU pulls up it's cougar socks, and goes on a winning streak as a result of that debacle, and advances in the CFP past a team that will undoubtedly be a traditional powerhouse, the sting of this loss will definitely dissipate somewhat, and the miracles at SMU and Utah, and vs KSU, and OSU, will come back to the forefront. So, just win BABY, and the sting all goes away!
