I don't think we know enough about the young man to know how he should be dealt with. Is he a good kid who did something
Stupid? Or is he a troublemaker with a criminal history?
At what point do we as a society start treating adults as adults?
I know that I stopped participating in many stupid behaviors when I turned 18 because I knew I could go to jail for them. Do we bump the age of majority to 21? Or do we continue to hold ourselves responsible for our actions when we turn 18? We let them vote and we give them guns and send them off to war at 18. Do we change that?
