If coaches are primarily responsible about developing then logically they are to blame for when players fail or don’t
develop which effectively makes them some form of voodoo witch doctor. They can’t control player abilities and work ethic. They certainly have influence and move the needle for sure but they do not take nothing and turn it into something special. It doesn’t work like that.

Coaches are as good as their players which is why coaches look like wizards with some QBs and then look “awful” with
