There's probably other teams they prefer for now - UTSA springs to mind
They've established themselves ahead of the MWC in the pecking order, so if they eventually decide they want more MWC schools it won't be difficult to add them now.

just checked Ute board...they are saying that if the bay schools would go back with Utah that it would be a better conf
