Then the timing doesn't make any sense. The ACC's implosion is anything but
certain. Wazzu and OSU aren't going anywhere. Why are the MWC schools paying $17M in exit fees for a $4M media deal in a half-baked conference? Why not just wait a year to see if the ACC collapses? Otherwise, they are going to have to lure a mix of UNLV/AFA (very steep exit fees) and/or UTSA/Memphis/Tulane (cross-country travel).
