No they are not. It’s two more teams with far more resources

And I’m not talking about the Big 12. I’m talking about our teams (Utah and BYU). The original members (as of now) are made up of similar strength schools. FSU and Clemson are stronger schools with more resources and better recruiting. When they make the playoffs in the Big12 but then jet, no one will give the old Big12 credit. It will be looked at as weakening the conference further.
