I hope we would counter-shell-out! With what we’ve seen in basketball I’m more hopeful than ever that BYU is finally
ready to play big-boy-games in terms of funding athletics. Especially in terms of laying coaches.
No reason we shouldn’t be able to outbid essentially any G5 for someone as important to our team as him.
No doubt he’d be even more important to USU, but it’s time to flex out incredibly-disparate athletics revenue over them.
I’m more worried that he’d leave because he see’s controlling his own team as a faster path toward becoming a P4 HC (which I think has to be his ultimate goal).
