I don't see that as much of a promotion
I would think he has his sights set higher. Kalani flops the next couple years, Hill is the coach in waiting, assuming he continues to rebuild the defense. if kalani does stick around and he could be a HC somewhere else in p5 in the next couple years. Going to Utah State would seem to delay that, but to mention it probably wouldn't be much of a pay increase.
