The current Camry is a gas/hybrid electric with a turbo 4. If your primary aim is reliability and longevity and cost of
ownership, the prospective buyer would be LIGHTYEARS ahead sticking with the previous chassis, the 2016 model, particularly with the naturally aspirated v6 (not sure if the non-turbo hybrid 4s were available in the USA, if so, that wouldn't be bad either). Even at gently used 40-60k miles, the owner should have less headaches and less costly repairs over 200k+ miles.

Now if you are a 5 or 6 year car-flipper, then sure, get the new Camry. But if you are flipping your new cars before they hit 200k miles, then why are you driving a Camry in the first place?
