ownership, the prospective buyer would be LIGHTYEARS ahead sticking with the previous chassis, the 2016 model, particularly with the naturally aspirated v6 (not sure if the non-turbo hybrid 4s were available in the USA, if so, that wouldn't be bad either). Even at gently used 40-60k miles, the owner should have less headaches and less costly repairs over 200k+ miles.
Now if you are a 5 or 6 year car-flipper, then sure, get the new Camry. But if you are flipping your new cars before they hit 200k miles, then why are you driving a Camry in the first place?
